TO BAKE OR TO BREAK?
As usual, my chocolate craving led me into baking.
As usual, my chocolate craving led me into baking.
Chocolate Chocolate-Chips Muffin.
Enjoy them like I did: on a rainy day,
with a cup of warm coffee
and my TV, the ever loyal company :)
THE (very, very easy) RECIPE:
(Thanks to MuffinRecipes.net)
6 t/s of baking cocoa
2 large eggs
1 cup of flour
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 cup of sugar
2 t/s of baking soda
2/3 cups of fresh milk
1/3 cup of butter or vegetable oil
2 t/s of vanilla
1/2 t/s of salt
NOTE: The measurement of the cocoa powder is actually up to you,
depending on how chocolate-y you want your muffin to be.
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
2. Coat muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray.
3. In a large bowl, combine the cocoa, flour, sugar,
baking soda, butter/oil, salt and vanilla.
4. Stir in half a cup of chocolate chips.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs and milk.
6. Add the egg/milk mixtute to the other ingredients until moistened.
7. Scoop the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
8. Bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick
inserted in the middle comes out clean.
9. Cool on a wire rack before removing from the pan.
10. Sprinkle on some icing sugar.
(You should use penapis so that the sugar will
not be clumpy like mine. Ngeee)
And you're good to go! :)
NOTE: If you want your muffin to look like this instead:
You should add more flour.
Some recipes use 2 cups of flour instead of 1.
I baked this batch for breakfast this morning.
Warm muffin for breakfast... heavenly! :D
